Sustainability is an important consideration for the Ecology Gardens. The energetic and dedicated gardeners who volunteer their time and resources continue to encourage support from local individuals, businesses and government.
The Towns, local businesses and individuals have been the mainstay since inception, and a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation has enabled the maintenance of existing initiatives and the expansion of new programs.
The Gardens are continually evolving works of creation. They are developing at a rapid pace, but help is important to the growth of projects. We would like to hear from anyone who has specific skills, or simply enthusiasm. Perhaps you have some plants to share or would like to offer your organizational skills. With community involvement the gardens will continue to grow.
